Muhammad Arsalan Khan
Software Engineer · Researcher · Competitive Programmer
I'm a computer science student at NUST (National University of Sciences and Technology), Islamabad. My work sits at the intersection of applied machine learning, systems programming, and algorithmics.
At the TUKL R&D Lab, I'm building NeuroGATE — a deep learning pipeline for automated EEG pathology detection. The system classifies neurological conditions from raw multichannel EEG using convolutional-recurrent architectures, targeting clinical-grade sensitivity and specificity.
On the competitive programming side, I hold a Candidate Master rating on Codeforces (peak 1976). I placed 1st at SOFTEC 2025, 3rd at ICPC Pakistan Nationals 2024, and I used to train students at Akhuwat STEM school Lahore for POI and competitive programming.
I currently work at Motive (formerly KeepTruckin) on backend systems. I care about writing software that is correct, fast, and maintainable.
